Thirty.
22 June 2005
The first thing I did this morning when I woke up was break one of my four plates.
Although largely, other than the fact that I didn't get much work done because most of my friends and immediate family called to wish me a happy birthday, today wasn't really any different than any other day. I hadn't made any big plans, in an effort to avoid last year's disappointment. But, the lack of plans ended up being a bit of disappointment itself.
Sonali had an extra ticket to see the Broadway show Brooklyn, which she invited me along to. So that was something a little out of the ordinary and special, but afterwards she was going out with the people from her workshop and I ended up just going home for the last couple hours of my birthday.
