I had my first significantly full day of work today in, well, I'm not really sure how long, maybe even since I got back from the West Coast. Also today, George, who it's possible I hadn't seen in over a year, was going to be in the city for the afternoon. Also today, Daniel called to talk for a while about the (this is really absolutely it, for the final time) end of li.com

I worked this morning. For a few hours in the early afternoon. And 10PM onwards.

George and I hung out and caught up for a bit. Stopped by MooShoes. Dinner at Sacred Chow. Then he was on his way back to Burlington.

By now, the end of li.com is really just more ceremonial than anything. We dissolved the company over seven years ago, and it had been on the skids for a good year before that. Almost anyone who has ever used an li.com email address, as cool as the two-letter domain name is, has long since given up on it, as that same simplicity and its 11+ years as a web presence has left it little more than a spam sponge. Almost everything, from a technical point of view, has been transitioned over to fruit.org. At the end of the day, it's sad to finally see it go. But there's always ell-eye.com.
