It's still hot. Yes, everyone is tired of hearing about the heat. But I'm really just talking for posterity's sake. And anyway, it's supposed to break tonight. There were a few sprinkles earlier, but as of midnight it's still in the 80s (better than last night) as the cold front hasn't passed through yet.

Since it seems like everyone with any interest in design or fashion or crafts has been talking about Project Runway the last few weeks, I decided to download the first few episodes of the current season. And while I'm no where near as hooked as I was after watching a few episodes of the UK version of The Apprentice (which probably has something to do with the accents) I think I will keep watching.

It also re-sparked my interest in buying a sewing machine. Which is something that has, at least conceptually, been near the top of my "to buy" list for the last few years, but for whatever reason I still do not own.

In other, somewhat surprising, summer TV news, Blade: The Series is actually not half bad.
