Sam called at 8:30 this evening as I was making dinner. 'I'm in the city working on a project, but I thin we're almost done, and we'll probably go out for dinner and then get a drink later if you want to come out in the rain.' Two hours later I hadn't heard back from him. It was definitely bordering on too late to go out on a school night. I called him, catching him just as he was checking into his hotel, and he wanted to take a shower and wasn't sure he was going to being going out after all. Maybe I'll catch up with him tomorrow. And if not, the big family Thanksgiving dinner is just around the corner.

Elsewise, I could use a bit of health care advice, if anyone has any to offer. As I've mentioned, I'm signing up for health insurance. I need to pick a primary care physician though, before I can complete the registration. If anyone reading this (within the next week or so) has a recommendation of a NYC doctor who is in the HIP network, please let me know. Otherwise I'll have to simply pick a doctor with a cool name, which is a large part of my strategy for getting elected to Congress some day, but I'm not sure I personally condone it as a method for making a potentially important choice.
