friday. half day. worked on our sand buckets in 3d. i could have spent a full second day.
about five i went to the library with nikki and alex (not nmh/seattle alex, alex across the hall whos grandfather started edmund scientific, isn't that cool?) but they were just closing. so we went to the brown library, same deal. and the providence athenaeum where they told us every library in providence closes at five on friday.
went to look at a house off campus that some people in my dorm are talking about renting. it would be kinda neat to continue living with some of these people.
walked back to campus and ate dinner with leo (my ra) and a bunch of other summer ras. then went to the risd museum that had two exhibits opening today. the universal kitchen a futuristic kitchen, completely customizable and accessible to people of differing sizes and abilities. and an installation piece that is like a bamboo forest.
then a bunch of people from my dorm were going to the movies. of the choices i would have liked to see austin powers, but we couldn't convince anyone with a car to go to that theatre. so i saw star wars again. i retrospect i prolly should've seen tarzan, just to see something new.
stayed up late talking with jen, a very sorta pixie-ish girl in my dorm.
