i think that the most interesting thing that happened to me today was when i tried to buy a ginger ale on my lunch break from the soda machine in the mailroom lobby, and i heard it klunk down out of the rows of cans hidden behind the large, splashy photo of a giant coke can (or whatever is on the front of the machine) but it didn't fall into the through where cans are supposed to fall; and so i had to pry the little teeny plastic door open with my fingernails and reach up inside the machine, bending my arm at funny angles, to find that my can was sitting upright, just inside the door.
pretty sad, huh?
also, it rained all day. i got to wear my wonderful new rain coat for the first time. on top of which rain is just cool.
cybèle followed me home from work. she was headed out to wickenden anyway. she hung out for a bit, and then left to have an "conversation about adult matters". chris.k and i talked about how those adult sorts of matters are actually really very high school. it's all high school until yr married. cybèle came back after a bit, and it turned out that her conversation ended up being about skateboarding. need i say more?
drove her down to kennedy plaza to catch the last bus home. and chris and i stayed up kinda late taking about art again.
