i wrote some stuff for this spot on monday that i wasn't able to upload. was that only yesterday? funky. anyway, i'm in carlsbad, nm now. we're going to go hang out in the caverns tomorrow. i figured that since george wants to live in a cave, i'd drag him along to carlsbad. he'll probably like it better than another day in austin, since he'll have plenty of time to explore austin in the months to come.

saw a jack-rabbit in the desert today. i don't think i've ever seen one before. maybe in a zoo or something. but i always think it's a good omen when i see bunnies.

last night i got a page from kevin. hadn't heard from him in quite a while, so that's cool. haven't gotten back to him yet, but... and i also got a page from alex while we were out at the see site, where i'll have full service it seems.

and speaking of the see site, it was kinda hot, but neat. trees and grass and stuff, but i guess it's the seeing where i'm planning on living that makes it interesting. i think that there's more i could be saying, but i think that maybe my brain is a little fried by the heat and the sun.
