magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

first a recommendation: dead dog. not sure i care for the name, but it's a couple of guys out in california who've posted a bunch of songs on the net, including a new ep, the laissez-faire thing. they remind me of sebadoh, and a bit of they might be giants and new order. could i have thought of three more different bands? kinda what i'd like to be doing, guitar, casio keyboard, fourtrack. 'cept they actually know how to play their instruments.

back to my own life, i'm under an unhealthy amount of stress. but, i still feel basically okay. i don't know if i'm dealing or suppressing. i feel terribly out of touch with the home office, so to speak, and more than ever am unsure about the future. my first response is not to get too caught up and let it all work itself out. to just play with my instruments and work on recording stuff, and get on with my own life. but, i can't take that route. i've got responsibilities.

i had to take a small break and blow some bubbles. i was feeling a little too grown up for a second there.
