i was going to leave the studio just after eleven. but i ended up hanging around for almost another two hours. first i put these three foot long, red, cardboard tubes on all my fingers and walked around showing them off. then molly said something like "i'm bored. someone come talk to me." so i did. then i drew on rex's window. then i talked to sarah. then i talked to molly some more. and finally left just before one.
today felt like a weekend. very relaxing. in a spacy kinda strange way.
the morning classes kinda flew by. quiz in materials and methods. i think i got an 8 out of 10. modern architecture was about louis kahn. (hence the quote of two days ago.)
then i spent a little time in the studio, working on my drawing homework (monopoly house in two-point perspective). then lunch. then something for a while after lunch, but i don't remember what.
then i called my mom, but only talked very briefly. and spent most of the afternoon writing cd reviews for mixed media. and did a graphical layout of the poem that i wrote on the 30th. photoshop was doing all this wacky colour stuff when i cut and pasted on to new layers, which is where the pix to the left came from.
dinner. then the mixed media meeting. my cd reviews are going to wait an issue, but my poem should be in the next one. and back to the studio. where i finished the drawing homework and kinda tossed around ideas for recreating my vessel.
and once again, two or three years in a row now, allison's birthday came and went without my noticing. of course i'm still bringing it up. but.
