got up earlier this morning. didn't get to work until after brunch, about eleven, but that's better than yesterday. i spent another couple hours working on my paper. finished it about two. took it to the computer lab to print. i don't think i've mentioned recently how much i hate microsquish products. word has to be one of the worst word processors ever written. once i figured out where things like line spacing and superscript were i got along mostly okay. but the fact that it displayed page numbers on the screen but printed them all as "{ PAGE }" kinda upset me.
spent the afternoon in the studio trying to get a rough perspective done. the perspective plan method is, as chick said, really quite fun. but i made a lot of mistakes and realized that the point of view i chose wasn't all that good. so basically i still have to start from scratch. but i think i fully understand the method now.
dinner, as it often is on the weekends, was lousy. (although last night's tofu stir-fry was kinda surprisingly good.)
and then the library was no where near as busy i was expecting it to be, but i still didn't get much done. i did kinda block out my time for the week. assuming six hours of sleep a night i have about 40 hours outside of studio time between now and friday night in which to do all the work i have. and that includes my lunch and dinner time. then i do have the weekend solely for my studio project. but still i don't think i'm going to be getting those six hours a night.
and i still have to take slides at some point. and put together my portfolio for materials and methods.
today's pic is a perspective drawing by le corbusier of his villa shodhan in ahmedabad, india (contrast screwed with and colours added). i talked about this particular house in my history paper, and then went to work on perspective drawing, so i thought it was appropriate.
