magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

kinda slept in. sunday's the only day that i get a chance to. remembered my dreams upon waking, but they're gone now.

i decided to walk out to the nice, but kinda far away, flat that we looked at on friday. it would be a pleasant walk if the weather was agreeable, but much less than pleasant in the cold or rain or at three in the morning. hrm.

spent some time in the studio, but didn't get much done. i was getting a headache too, so i decided to try and work at home for a bit. and of course didn't get much done there either.

stopped by the met at dinner time. was totally unenthused. decided to get indian food. much better choice. realized how incredibly hungry i was once i started eating. i probably could have eaten twice as much food. (i couldn't have afforded it though.) eating made the headache go away too.

futurama was on when i came back, so i stopped and watched it. sketched for half an hour, then watched the simpsons too. a teeny little bit of tv every couple of months probably won't kill me.

headed back down to the studio afterwards. andrew isn't going to be around on tuesday, and i'm not going to be in the studio on monday, so he was coming in tonight for a desk crit. i really didn't want to go. i hadn't accomplished much of anything since thursday. and when i got there, there was a sign that said he wouldn't be in until after eleven.

but i stuck around. and he showed up, and we talked for a bit. and i think it really was helpful. maybe more encouraging than anything else. i could sorta see that he would have liked it if i had more work to talk about, or maybe i'm projecting. but he didn't bring that up, and instead brought up some interesting things to think about, and basically just said that working with what i have now (even if it's somewhat simple) is the best course of action. and since this whole thing is due on thursday, simple is probably the best bet.
