dreamt that chris.k and garth had found a new apartment without consulting with me about it. it might have been for next year, but i was going to be living there at least for the summer. because i hadn't been involved in choosing the place, it turned out that the ceiling was too low for me to stand up straight. and as i looked around for a third bedroom all i could find were dingy bathrooms with broken glass and porcelain.

eventually i found what i thought was another bedroom. it had been an old theatre or something. there was a stage at one end. and a bunch of silver balloons. i fell in love with it. but then realized that it was actually in another building down the street.

and there was a scene in a room that was filled with a few feet of water, and there were a bunch of people milling around who had arrows stuck in them. my awareness jumped back and forth between a few different people, and then to someone outside the scene that knew about something hidden in one of the walls.

back to school. molly's new plan is to drop her studio and replace it with a three credit independent studio with sung ho. gabriel, our department head, has agreed to it. sung ho has agreed to it.

we decided to go out for indian food. they stuck us all the way over in a corner. i don't know if it was to keep us out of trouble or to give us privacy as if we were on a date. it wasn't really a date. but i'm glad that she's going to be sticking around.

i stopped by her new place after dinner and hung out for a bit. she's living in one of the risd outer houses that i had never been in. it's nice enough. her new roommate is in my italian class and will be in rome next year.

molly was completely exhausted and was falling asleep. so i didn't stay too late. but it was getting close to midnight, wednesday night, and it is still winter, but the streets around brown were filled with students, as you would expect to see on a friday or saturday night sometime in the warmer spring or fall.
