magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

bologna and mantova. nothing that really inspired me today. giorgio morandi, giulio romano, and landscape painting of italy by artists from all over europe. i did see some beautiful (and expensive) clothes in bologna while looking all over for vegan food. unsuccessfully. and bought a pair of pants in mantova at a store selling last year's designer clothes. not quite as nice, but much cheaper. there was a really cool green sweater, but unfortunately it was wool.

the highlight of the day, aside from my new pants, was a very modern church that i saw from the bus as we sped passed florence. i wasn't quick enough to take any photos, but i think i will take a weekend to go back and see it.
