and more trips to the photobooth. alex.h is organizing a project to put together a yearbook for the ehp. one big photobooth picture per person. i had scanned in a number of my january photobooth portraits and overlayed, filtered, and edited them on the computer. printed the resulting portrait out, life-sized, on nine pieces of paper. cut them out. taped them together. and then dragged my life-sized, computer enhanced double down to the photobooth. three trips, eight photos, and eight euros, later i hit upon what i actually wanted to do for my picture. not using the computer enhanced photo at all. but by putting up a black curtain behind me, and holding a black sheet of paper in front of me so that all of me that shows is a strip of me face between my nose and my eyebrows. (and another two photos to get it right, for a total of ten euros, finishing minutes before they came and doubled the price per photo.)

and shopping for the southern tour. and emily.a and i got egyptian takeout, falafel, okay but not great. i wish rome had a falafel place like the one in barcelona.
