sonali and i have been emailing back and forth again lately. she is moving back east this fall to teach theatre at a massachusetts prep school. which is incredibly cool. but as happy as i am for her, and to be geographically close enough to spend time with her again, it all reminds me of stef. stef who wants to teach art at a new england prep school. so many echoes. plus, sonali is still dating brent, the boy that she started dating right about the same time that stef and i got together.
