After a few fitful hours of sleep on Robin's couch, and some morning time, post-drunken banter with the other kids who we still around, I headed straight into Manhattan to meet Chris for brunch. When he left the party last night (or maybe 5 o'clock this morning) I asked if he was going to be up for brunch to today, and since it was my suggestion, although is generally a given, I figured I should make the effort. I wasn't really hung over, just a little queasy, and I figured food would help.

Then home. A shower. And a nap.

I created an account on MySpace this evening. It's another Friendster-esque site, but seems to be working a little better, and also seems to have quite a number of cute, single girls my age living in NYC. Much more so than okCupid, which seems to have a primary demographic of 18-21 year olds. Not that I've written to anyone yet, or necessarily even have plans to. But it's nice to know that they're out there.

With Emily staying here we've been watching more TV. Marie and Rob kind of guilted me into cutting back a few months ago. Which is probably a good thing, but still, it's sometimes nice to indulge in bad habits. Crossing Jordan was on tonight, which for the fact that it has a whole lot of actors that I like is really a pretty bad show. Partly because it seems to have gone sort of over over the top with it's soap operatic sub-plot. But, to come to my point of evening mentioning it, Ed Hermann guest starred on tonight's episode, and Emily said, 'My mom went to high school with that guy.' Very much like her comment a week ago.

And like last time, I had a follow up. 'My mom does his picture framing.'
