Little projects are sometimes worse.
7 May 2006
Unlike the last few weekends, I didn't have any big projects that I needed to work on over this one. I did, however, have one little project that needed four or five hours of steady attention, which I was supposed to have no problem fitting in today, since I don't really do anything much else on Sundays anyway. Somehow though, and it's really no great mystery how, I haven't managed more than a couple half hour or so bursts of focus to throw at it between much larger chunks of any conceivable procrastination. Procrastination that started with sleeping until 1:00 in the afternoon, something that I haven't done in forever on a night that I got to bed before the sun was coming up (and not even on most of the nights that I've gotten to bed after the sun was up). Procrastination that continued with going out for bagels, watching TV, talking on the phone, downloading recent photos off of my camera, making hotel reservations, watching more TV, and writing this.
