TV doctors and lawyers.

I haven't checked my work email in a couple of days. I figure that if someone really needs something from me, there's always the phone, which hasn't been ringing. It's certainly not that I like not working. It's just sometimes easier to give into the lack of momentum. I guess that applies double for my personal life. I really haven't been doing much of anything, mainly because it's just sort of easier not to.
A few days back I drank the last bottle of a six pack of beer that had been in my fridge for a few weeks. Earlier this evening I finished the glass and a half or so that was left in an open bottle of wine. And then opened the bottle of single malt scotch that I had picked up a little ways back. To be reassuring, I do not in any way think that this is somehow signaling a descent into anti-social, hermit-like, alcoholism. I only had one glass, sipped slowly. And I think that it has more to do with seeing the TV doctors and lawyers drinking scotch. (Which may actually be worse, in a way, I don't know.) It seemed like I should at least mention it.
