Knock, knock.

So finally the guy came to fix my door buzzer today. They put a new box in the foyer at least six months back, and since then I haven't been able to open the front door without running down three flights of stairs and doing it manually. After the first few months I had even taken the box in my apartment apart myself and tried to troubleshoot the problem, but it seemed like it was simply just not getting enough current to trip the magnetic switch that opens the door, and there wasn't any more that I could do without access to the basement. Now I can open the door again. The talk/listen buttons just produce feedback, but I never really used them anyway.
